Changing Text Size (Windows)
On some web sites, you can change the size of the text to make it easier for you to read.
So here I will show you how you can increase or decrease the text size of a web page for you be able to read comfortably
Internet Explorer
To change the text display size in Internet Explorer, follow these directions:
- Use your left mouse button to click once on the View menu.
- Slide your mouse down until it is located over the line that reads Text Size. Another menu should slide out to the right.
- Slide your mouse over to the right and then down to the text size you need.
- Click once with your left mouse button.
The default text size is usually medium. You can make the text larger or smaller. You can go to the View menu and change the text size at any time.
You can also use keyboard shortcuts to adjust the text size by doing the following
Press and hold down Ctrl while holding down, press + to increase text size, or – to decrease text size.
To reset to original size, press Ctrl then press * button
Mozilla Firefox
To change text display size in Mozilla Firefox, follow these directions
- Use your left mouse button to click once on the View menu from the menu bar
- Move your mouse down over the Zoom, Another menu should appear on the right of zoom
- Slide your mouse to the menu and select Zoom In to increase the text size or Zoom out to decrease the text size
- Repeat this process if you still want to increase or decrease the size
- From step 2 select Reset to set the default text size.
You can also use keyboard shortcuts to adjust the text size by doing the following
Press and hold down Ctrl while holding down, press + to increase text size, or – to decrease text size.
To reset to original size, press Ctrl then press 0 (Zero) button
