As most of you do, I also have dual monitors hooked on my desktop PC, and enjoy using them because they give me adequate space while working on multiple windows at the same time. But sometimes it happens that, while doing something on one screen, I want to be streaming a movie on the other scree in full screen mode. This is where the problem occurs, flash wont allow you to leave it full screen while the focus in on another program, which makes it impossible to have a flash movie in full screen while working on some other programs in second monitor.
I have been searching for a solution on the net and finally came across the solution that solved my problem, and I thought that there must be some other people out there with same problem. Now if you are one of them, then here is the solution for that.
I found the solution here and it worked like a charm for me, from there you will find the steps on how to do it, but I will also try to give you the steps I followed to have my problem solved using same source.
Step 1.
Download the patch file from my.opera.com
Step 2.
Extract the zip file to the location of your liking
Step 3.
In windows XP navigate to C:/WINDOWS/system32/Macromed/Flash
In windows Vista C:/windows/sysWOW64/macromed/flash
and replace npswf32.dll with the one you extracted from the downloaded zip file.
PS. You might need to close all the browsers or any application that uses flash, otherwise you will not be able to make any changes to the dll file.
Hope this works for you as it did for me.
Regards.
